WHEN CALLS THE HEART Star Welcomes Her Third Child

Beloved WHEN CALLS THE HEART actress Andrea Brooks welcomed her third child earlier this week.

“Baby Angus. Earthside,” Brooks, who plays Faith Carter on the show, wrote in a sweet Instagram post along with a photo of her cuddling her newborn.

Brooks’ castmates were excited for the new addition to the family. “So happy for you all! & I love this shot!” Erin Krakow wrote. “Congratulations Mama,” Pascale Hutton raved. “There you go!!! Congrats, lil sis!!! Welcome to the 3 kid club!!” Viv Leacock added.

Brooks announced her pregnancy in September as she was nearing the end of her second trimester. Though she was pregnant throughout the filming of season 12 of WHEN CALLS THE HEART, the costume department got creative with her clothes, so her baby bump wouldn’t show.

WHEN CALLS THE HEART was renewed for a twelfth season this summer, and the new episodes will begin airing starting Jan. 5, 2025.

While the season’s main plot points have been kept under wraps, showrunners previously teased that LITTLE HOUSE ON THE PRAIRIE alum Melissa Gilbert will guest star in two episodes this season.

“WHEN CALLS THE HEART has long drawn comparisons to LITTLE HOUSE ON THE PRARIE, for its charming and compelling stories of hope, human connection and frontier survival,” said Kelly Garrett, vice president of Hallmark Media programming, during the annual Hearties Family Reunion event. “It was only fitting that the first people to hear this special news were the Hearties — devoted fans who have celebrated the show year after year and made it such a success. The energy being here with them to share this news is electric and we cannot wait for them to meet Georgie next year.”
