More Detail:

The JACK RYAN episode “The Wolf” slows things down quite a bit, as it follows Jack returning back to the States and readjusting after nearly being killed in France. He asks Cathy out on a date, which results in them going to her place for sex. Back in Yemen, Suleiman overtakes the local Taliban leader’s forces and inserts his men and a group of American prisoners he was holding. It’s not revealed what Suleiman has planned, but it’s clearly not good.

“The Wolf” is not as exciting as previous JACK RYAN episodes, but it does set up future tension in subsequent episodes quite well. Jack Ryan’s relationship with Cathy progresses, but they sadly jump toward sex very quickly and don’t even let the relationship build to anything meaningful. This episode has the least amount of foul language, but the sex scene still warrants extreme caution.
