AIMÉE AND JAGUAR

What You Need To Know:

Set during World War II, AIMÉE & JAGUAR is about a lesbian love affair in 1943 Berlin between a Jewish resistance leader and a pretty German housewife with four children and a philandering husband. Felice, the lesbian resistance leader, and Lilly, the housewife, meet when they are introduced by Lilly’s maid, Ilse, who happens to be Felice’s lover. When they meet, Lilly is having an affair with an important National Socialist officer while her philandering husband is away at the Eastern Front. The unlawful homosexual lust between Lilly and Felice begins to grow slowly, but then blossoms into a full-fledged affair. Eventually, the Nazis catch up with Felice, and an innocent act by Lilly results in Felice’s death.

AIMÉE & JAGUAR is bookended by scenes where Lilly meets Ilse years later, and they commiserate with each other about their lost lesbian lover. Although beautifully photographed, AIMÉE & JAGUAR attacks Christian values and celebrates a politically correct, Marxist view of homosexuality. The movie also considers marriage as prostitution and heterosexuality as a perversion. Of course, Jesus Christ extols the virtues of heterosexual marriage and condemns all unlawful sexual practices, including homosexuality, several times in the New Testament

More Detail:

Set during World War II, AIMÉE & JAGUAR is a beautifully photographed German movie about a lesbian love affair in 1943 Berlin between a Jewish resistance leader and a German housewife with four children and a philandering husband. Felice, the lesbian resistance leader, and Lilly, the housewife, meet when they are introduced by Lilly’s maid, Ilse, who happens to be Felice’s lover. When they meet, Lilly is having an affair with an important National Socialist officer while her philandering husband, Gunther, is away at the Eastern Front. The unlawful homosexual lust between Lilly and Felice begins to grow slowly, but then blossoms into a full-fledged affair. Eventually, the Nazis catch up with Felice, and an innocent act by Lilly results in Felice’s death.

AIMÉE & JAGUAR is bookended by scenes in the present, where Lilly meets Ilse years later and the two former rivals commiserate with each other about their lost lesbian lover. Although beautifully photographed, especially when the movie depicts the Allied bombings of Berlin, AIMÉE & JAGUAR ends up being a humanist movie with romantic elements that attacks Christian values and celebrates a politically correct, Marxist view of homosexuality. The movie also portrays marriage as a kind of prostitution and heterosexuality as a perversion. Finally, it contains a prolonged sexual encounter between Felice and Lilly that tries to make homosexuality as attractive as possible. Such a scene properly belongs in an X-rated porno flick, not a real movie.

Of course, Jesus Christ extols the virtues of heterosexual marriage and condemns all unlawful sexual practices, including homosexuality, several times in the New Testament. The Greek word that Jesus uses in the New Testament is porneia, which is derived from the word porneuo (pronounced “porn-yoo-o”). This word does not just mean mere fornication; the real meaning of the word refers to all unlawful sexual practices and all unlawful sexual lust condemned by the Law of God handed down to Moses. Any alleged scholar, Christian theologian, pope, cardinal, bishop, reverend, vicar, pastor, priest, rabbi, politician, social activist, monk, elder, or laymen who tells you anything differently than this does not know what he or she is saying and should be harshly and roundly rebuked.
