JACKASS 3D

What You Need To Know:

JACKASS 3D is another episode featuring the men from the television series performing stupid, sometimes very crude and dangerous, stunts and pranks. The movie begins with some clean stunts and pranks. Those include men being hit in their bare chest with shots from paintball guns, men being hit with a giant spring-loaded plaster hand, men riding roller skates and skateboards over a ramp into a plastic pool, and two men playing tether ball with African honey bees. Other stunts and pranks involve human waste, full male nudity and one where a man dressed up as a grandfather pretends to kiss his granddaughter to offend real people.

JACKASS 3D is like the Three Stooges on steroids. Some of the stunts and pranks are funny, such as the one with the African bees. There’s also a funny stunt where two men playing brass instruments climb into a ram’s pen to see if music does indeed “soothe the savage beast.” Most of the stunts and pranks are pretty juvenile. Some are also dangerous, and the gross-out stunts are sickening. The 3D effects are surprisingly ineffective. The movie contains abundant obscene language and explicit nudity.

More Detail:

JACKASS 3D is another feature-length episode with the men from the infamous MTV television series performing stupid, sometimes dangerous stunts and pranks, some of which involve human excrement and explicit nudity. Many of the stunts are simply awful, and the 3D effects are fairly unimpressive.

The movie starts off with some clean stunts and pranks. Those include men being hit in their bare chest with shots from paintball guns, a fat man being hit with a cannonball in slow motion, men being hit with a giant spring-loaded plaster hand, men riding roller skates and a skateboards over a ramp and into a plastic pool, and two men playing tether ball with a ball loaded with African honey bees. Other stunts and pranks, however, involve human waste, full male nudity and one where a man dressed up as an elderly grandfather pretends to kiss his granddaughter to offend real people on a public street.

JACKASS 3D is like the Three Stooges on steroids. Some of the stunts and pranks are pretty funny, such as the one with the African honey bees. There’s also a funny stunt where two men playing a tuba and a trombone climb into a pen with a very irate ram, who predictably does what rams were designed to do. This stunt was a test to see if music does indeed “soothe the savage beast.” Another funny prank involves a man in a gorilla suit scaring the parents of one JACKASS star in a hotel room.

Most of the stunts and pranks, however, are pretty juvenile. Some of them are also dangerous, and the gross-out stunts are sickening and abhorrent. The 3D effects are surprisingly ineffective. The movie contains abundant obscene language and explicit full male nudity.
