So, Joe asks a rival, a mean lady named Marianna who has a stable of assassins, to put out the hit, for two million dollars.

The hit is supposed to take place at midnight, just after Joe’s last meeting with Maize. In that last meeting, he tells her they can no longer see each other. His news makes her very perplexed and upset.

Just before midnight, however, Joe gets some news that changes everything. Now, he must find a way to stop all the assassins coming after him while he also tries to protect Maize.
