GRAVITY Stays Aloft a Second Weekend
GRAVITY continues to surprise with a strong showing in its second weekend. CAPTAIN PHILLIPS came is a strong second. CLOUDY WITH A CHANCE OF MEATBALLS 2 came in third and appears to be on its way to $100 million. Thankfully MACHETE KILLS came in way under expectations in fourth place. RUNNER, RUNNER finished out the top five.   GRACE UNPLUGGED is still in theaters and deserves a greater audience. It’s a wonderful story of rebellion and repentance – the prodigal daughter. It contains valuable insight for both children and parents on how to maintain faith in God.
The rest of October looks dismal but November will offer some interesting Christmas season releases.
