Motorsports Star Haiden Deegan Gives ‘Thanks to God’ for Unbelievable Win

Young motocross and supercross star Haiden Deegan has had his fair share of struggles this SuperMotocross season, but that hasn’t stopped him from thanking God.

He’s suffered multiple injuries and crashes, and other riders’ mistakes have cost him. But after a few weeks off the bike for a mid-season break, Deegan came back stronger than ever, both mentally and physically.

While in Foxborough, Massachusetts, Deegan secured a win in dominant fashion.

“P1 Solid night in Foxborough, Good to finally get another win! Thanks to God and my family and team for always pushing me to be the best,” he wrote on social media.

Deegan rode a hard-fought race in Philadelphia this past weekend.

While he was down 13 points in the championship with only two rounds to go and an almost last-place start, he knew he had to push himself to the front.

Deegan made pass after pass and worked his way all the way up to a podium finish.

“Going into the last round, we’re going to try our best. It’s not it’s till it’s over,” he said on the podium as he secured a third-place finish. “I’m still young, I have a big career ahead of me but we’re going to fight till the end. I have to give glory to God. He’s by my side all the time watching over me and pushing me every day.”

“If this race right here didn’t make you a fan of supercross, I don’t know what will,” Deeagn added. “That was literally heart from every rider out there. A lot of the good guys had a bad start, and we came through. Dudes were taking each other out. Although I didn’t go out there and win, it sucks obviously, but it was a good race coming from the back. Good speed out of me and Tom [Vialle]. I gave him a wheel every now and then, but he’s a tough opponent, and I have respect for him.”

As the season ends in Salt Lake City, Utah, on May 11, Deegan plans to give it all he has to secure his first-ever championship.

Movieguide® recently reported on Deegan:

This past weekend, though, Deegan thanked God for keeping him safe after a crash.

While he was practicing at the Daytona International Speedway, rain rolled in, and the track started to deteriorate.

In his second practice session, Deegan went sideways off of a big jump and had to eject himself from the bike.

Deegan was able to ride away and compete in the race later that night, finishing in fourth place.

After the race, Deegan shared on his social media accounts, “Got to give thanks to God out here at Daytona today! Grateful on where we’re at let’s keep fighting??the Daytona fans were unreal thanks ??p4 on the night!”
