Multi-time Grammy award winner CeCe Winans wants you to have faith in seasons of waiting, even when that feels difficult.
“You’re gonna cry in the waiting room,” Winans told TBN. “You know what I’m saying? It’s part of the waiting experience. You’re gonna cry in the waiting room, but you have to make up, in your mind, the posture you’re gonna keep in the waiting. I’m saying you have to make sure that your your words line up with God’s words, even though you don’t see it. What did God say? What am I waiting on? What do I want?”
The singer recalled an instance when she was talking with her 16-year-old son, telling him, “You’re a mighty man of God.” Her son looked back at her and responded, “You don’t even believe that yourself.”
“You have to speak what you want. When everything looks totally different, you have to just line up yourself with Him,” Winans encouraged TBN’s viewers.
Winans most recent project is the new single “Come Jesus Come,” which she released with pastor Shirley Caesar.
“I am so ready for you all to hear Shirley Caesar’s and my version of ‘Come Jesus Come.’ Gospel music wouldn’t be what it is without Shirley being the trailblazer that she has been her entire life. So honored that she joined me on this song and I’m looking forward to seeing how this song reaches the world for Christ,” Winans wrote on Instagram, announcing the release of the song.
She told CCM Magazine, “It is an absolute honor to sing alongside the incomparable Shirley Caesar. Her voice, her spirit, and her unwavering faith have impacted gospel music and the world for generations. ‘Come Jesus Come’ is a song that speaks to the times we’re living in and having Pastor Caesar join me on this track makes it even more powerful. I pray it blesses everyone who hears it.”
Winans is also in the middle of her More Than This Tour, celebrating her latest album, More Than This.
Aside from visiting different locations in the United States, Winans and her team have decided to take the tour across the pond and visit the United Kingdom, the Netherlands and Switzerland.

Many fans from overseas cannot wait to join Winans on tour at one of her shows.
“Yessss!!! The Netherlands!!!❤️ we can’t wait,” one follower commented on Winans’s post on Instagram.
“Rotterdam, the Netherlands 🔥🔥🔥” another said.
Winans continues to do what God has called her to do and tell as many people as possible about Jesus.
