Cole Hauser spilled some details about the upcoming YELLOWSTONE spinoff series while at the Professional Bull Riding finals in Texas last Saturday.

“Well, first of all, it’s not DUTTON RANCH,” Hauser, who plays Rip Wheeler, told Fox News Digital of the series’ title. “That’s not the name of it.”

One thing is for certain, though: “We can expect the same that we’ve been doing for the last seven years,” the actor confirmed.

Hauser revealed that he and Kelly Reilly, his YELLOWSTONE co-star who played Beth Dutton, have been working hard to “create something special.”

The plot line of the new series has not been revealed, but Deadline did confirm that instead of a sixth season of YELLOWSTONE, Hauser and Reilly secured a deal to bring the spinoff that will carry YELLOWSTONE in the title.

At the season finale of YELLOWSTONE last year, Reilly took to social media to share some of her thoughts on the character she portrayed for seven years.

“Words cannot convey how I feel about the people I got to work and create with,” the actress wrote. “The support from the crew and the trust and dedication of the cast. The words I got to say and the woman I got to inhabit the past 7 years. It changed me. It lit me up. It challenged me in every way possible and I will forever be grateful for it. For Taylor Sheridan, who took a chance on me and continued to write her in ways I got to feel on fire as an actor. Thank you, the audience we made it for, for being on this journey with us.”

Likewise, Hauser shared one of the first photos that had ever been taken of him on the show.

“This is the first picture that @emersonmiller showed me on @yellowstone Aug 2017. What a ride. What an office. See ya on the next 🇺🇸,” the actor wrote alongside a photo of him riding a horse through a field.

While talking with PEOPLE last year, Cole Hauser revealed that he and series creator Taylor Sheridan were surprised that his character, Rip, was a fan “favorite.”

“And I think that’s what’s the scariest part,” Hauser said before adding, “he is just that kind of animal.”

“At first, to see women coming up and saying, ‘Oh my God, I love your character.’ I was thinking, ‘What’s wrong with you?’” Hauser explained.

But he realized that Rip’s range of qualities made him interesting, both for him as an actor and for fans.

“What makes [Rip] special is that he has an unbelievable heart, too,” Hauser explained. “I mean, his loyalty is to not only the Dutton family, but to Beth; and his kindness, other than wanting to kill people at times, is just, to me, it’s the best of both worlds to be able to play.”

Cole Hauser and Reilly will certainly bring the same intensity and love from YELLOWSTONE to the spinoff series.
