Danica McKellar and Julia Reilly are two of our lovely presenters at the Movieguide® Faith & Values Awards Gala next month.

The duo will present for all awards under the Best Streaming/TV for Families category. McKeller is also a Grace Prize® nominee herself for Most Inspiring Performance for Streaming for her role in HAVE WE MET THIS CHRISTMAS?

It’s such a beautiful gift to give the world to say, ‘Hey, we’re going to honor these movies and celebrate these movies that are doing positive things in the world,” McKellar said of the Movieguide® Awards, “and I love being a part of that.”

She wrote on her socials last month, “It’s such an honor to be nominated for a @movieguide award for my performance in my @greatamericanfamily movie ‘Have We Met This Christmas?’ (You can watch this movie anytime on @greatamericanpureflix!)”

“It was a joy to co-host the awards ceremony two years ago with @trevordonovan, and I’m excited to return to this beautiful event as a nominee and presenter next month,” she continued. “For almost 35 years, @movieguide has been dedicated to shining a light on wholesome programming that uplifts, inspires, and brings people closer to God, healing hearts and souls, and I love being a part of that!!”

One of Reilly’s breakout roles is on Great American Family’s COUNTY RESCUE. She stars as Dani, a young EMT — a role that Reilly says deepened her faith.

“I will say it was such a cool experience and like the biggest God thing ever to work on a show where faith is such an important aspect of my character,” Reilly told Great American Pure Flix, “because I’m going to work, and I’m constantly reminded to be present in my faith, because that’s my job, but that’s also our job as followers of Christ in life.”

“And so if anything, I can honestly say that playing Dani and working on this show has helped me to grow in my own faith and in my relationship with the Lord in my own life,” the actress continued. “And so, I’m excited to continue that journey, because you know that’s an ongoing, evolving relationship that I am on, and that Dani’s also on, and I think, you know, we’re hand-in-hand on that, and it’s really, really so special to get to do that.”

Episode 5 from COUNTY RESCUE Season 2, “Hot Water,” is nominated for the Faith & Freedom Award® for Television and Streaming.

The Best Streaming/TV for Families nominations are CROSSROAD SPRINGS Season 1 Episode 6, “Sunrise and Still Water,” MAN VS. BABY Episodes 1-4, TIMELESS TIDINGS OF JOY, WHEN CALLS THE HEART Season 12 Episode 2 and WHEN HOPE CALLS “A New Beginning” and “So Long, Not Goodbye.”

Movieguide®’s review of MAN VS. BABY praises the series: “The first three episodes of Season One of MAN VS. BABY make for enjoyable comedy. Lead actor Rowan Atkinson, known for his role in the MR. BEAN movies, puts his slapstick skills to work while still giving his character a lot of heart.”

You can tune into the Movieguide® Awards on March 5 on Great American Family.
