Apologist Wesley Huff went viral for sharing the Gospel on comedian Andrew Schulz’s “Flagrant” podcast.

Their conversation covered a slew of faith-based topics like “common misconceptions about Christianity, the reasons for the Apocrypha, the catalysts for the Protestant Reformation, and if there were giants in the Bible,” according to The Christian Post.

However, the conversation took a serious turn when one of the guys in the group asked Huff if non-Christians go to Heaven.

“I would say, God is not going to force anyone into Heaven,” Huff responded.

He recited what Jesus said in John 14:6 — “No one comes to the Father but through me” — and then quoted C.S. Lewis, who said, “Hell is locked from the inside.”

Huff added: “I would say that if you have spent your life not living out a life that is what Jesus has called you to do, to be, then Jesus is not going to force you into His presence. Hell is God saying, ‘Thy will be done.’ So what you want in your life by rejecting Christ is what you’re going to get in the afterlife.”

“When you stand before the judgment throne, you’re either going to take the penalty you deserve, or you’re going to be covered in the righteousness of Christ, and that penalty is on him,” Huff explained later on in the show.

Huff often uses his knowledge of the Bible to help people better understand the Gospel message.

One of the ways he does that is through his life story. When Wesley Huff was 11 he “was diagnosed with a rare neurological condition that left me paralyzed from the waist down,” he wrote in an Instagram post.

“Told by doctors that my chances of walking were extremely rare due to the speed at which the inflammation on my spinal cord happened,” he continued. “I was home from school due to having the flu, and upon waking up from a nap, I couldn’t feel my legs.

I was eventually rushed to the hospital and told, after seeing multiple doctors, that my body’s immune system had attacked the nerves on my spinal cord instead of the common virus that I had. The resultant swelling had left me paralyzed from the waist down.”

“One month from the day (Jan. 8th) that I woke up a paraplegic, I woke up on a Saturday morning (Feb. 8th), got out of bed, walked over to my wheelchair, and sat down.
It was the doctors who first used the term ‘miracle’ to describe my instant and unexpected recovery,” Huff continued.

The apologist also shared the Gospel on Joe Rogan’s podcast earlier this year, which reached at least 6.6 million viewers, according to Not the Bee.

Wesley Huff’s willingness to share Gospel — that we are all in need of a savior, and the only way to Heaven is through Jesus — reminds us to always be ready to share the good news with anyone we meet.
