Is it that time of year for carols and sleigh bells in the snow already?
Well, it’s right around the corner, and to get fans in the spirit, Great American Family will premiere its 2025 Great American Christmas movie lineup Oct. 10 on Great American Family and GFAM+, and Oct. 16 on streaming on Great American Pure Flix.
“As we celebrate year five, we honor the stars and fans whose passion for faith and family-rooted storytelling makes Great American Christmas unlike any other holiday offering,” Bill Abbott, President & CEO, Great American Media said.

While the complete list of movies has not been released, GAF promised the “most spectacular lineup yet” with original and returning hits.
Two movies premiering this fall star the Queen of Christmas herself Candace Cameron Bure in the sequel to HOME SWEET CHRISTMAS, HOME SWEET CHRISTMAS WEDDING, also starring Cameron Mathison
WEDDING follows couple Sam (Mathison) and Sophia (Bure) as they balance the making of a movie about their love story and wedding plans in a movie Abbott described as a “celebration of love, second chances, and the magic of moviemaking.”
Bure shared her excitement for her upcoming project and the chance to work with her costar as well.
“It is such a joy to reunite with my good friend and co-star, Cameron Mathison, to share the next chapter of Sam and Sophia’s epic love story,” she said. “Our fans loved witnessing their love blossom in HOME SWEET CHRISTMAS. This time we’re excited to bring our fans ‘into the movie’ and to the biggest moment in Sam and Sophie’s lives.”
Bure joins daughter Natasha in the movie TIMELESS TIDINGS OF JOY. The mother-daughter team appeared together in AURORA TEAGARDEN: HAUNTED BY MURDER (2022).
CHRISTMAS IN MIDNIGHT CLEAR starring Dea Josipovic and and Jon McLaren is also set to premier this fall season. In MIDNIGHT, real estate developer Hillary Shaw (Josipovic) plans to revitalize a struggling town faces opposition by Pastor Daniel Porter (McLaren) in a story where “worldviews spark conflict, something deeper begins to blossom,” GAF wrote in their newsletter.
October may be too soon to hang those Christmas decorations, but not too soon for sweater weather, hot cocoa and a good Christmas movie.
