Natasha Bure Praises Mom Candace Cameron Bure Amid Public Backlash: ‘You Stand Firm In Faith’

By Movieguide® Contributor

Natasha Bure recently celebrated her birthday and took some time to shout out her mom, Candace Cameron Bure.

“My favorite people in the entire world,” she captioned a photo of herself, her parents, and her brothers standing around a birthday cake. “The Lord blessed me with the best parents I could’ve ever asked for…Raising us up in the word of God and bringing glory to HIS name. I don’t know where I’d be without both of them.”

She then singled her mother out, writing, “I love you @candacecbure for continuously choosing Christ before all.”

Her post continued:

The media is an absolutely VILE space for negativity and I applaud you every time for how you handle yourself with the upmost grace. As they continuously twist the narrative to beat down on the Kingdom, you stand firm in faith and never let others dim your light for Him. No matter how out of context or warped the words may get, the enemy will not prevail. Society has gotten completely out of hand with believing every strategically worded headline broadcasted by the media…followed by cancel culture which is nothing but ugly. It is so incredibly sad to watch. I am lucky to get to view you from a lense closer than most, and see how you are truly the real deal. The Lord shines through you time and time again. The battle is HIS.

Natasha is referring to recent media scrutiny Bure has been under for saying her move from Hallmark to Great American Family was spurred by a desire to make faith-based content that “will keep traditional marriage at the core.”

Bure defended her beliefs in an a later Instagram post of her own, and defended her Christian beliefs:

Natasha is busy with her own acting career. Movieguide® previously reported on a project she did with someone very special:

Actor Candace Cameron Bure’s daughter, Natasha, is set to star in the 18th movie of the AURORA TEAGARDEN MYSTERIES franchise.

According to E! News, Natasha plays the teenage version of her mother’s character in AURORA TEAGARDEN: HAUNTED BY MURDER.

E! News reported:

In the movie, which will premiere on Feb. 20, Natasha will portray a younger Aurora in a flashback to when she and her BFF Sally (Lexa Doig) stumble upon their first murder investigation after they enter an infamous haunted mansion on a dare. Twenty years later, Aurora returns to the scene of the crime after her mom Aida (Marilu Henner) purchases the cursed home.

It won’t be the first time the mother-daughter duo teamed up. While the Bures won’t be in the same scene for the upcoming Hallmark Mystery movie, the pair shared the screen in 2017’s SWITCHED FOR CHRISTMAS.

Natasha and Candace also hosted the Movieguide® Award Gala.
