At Least 1,000 People Accept Christ at Kanye West’s Sunday Service

Over 1,000 people gave their lives to Christ at Kanye West’s impromptu Sunday Service over the weekend, according to multiple reports.
Thousands of people gathered on Friday in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, to worship with born-again rapper West.
West recently released the album “Jesus Is King,” that is taking the country by storm and spurring “awakening.”
DUCK DYNASTY alums Willie and Korie Robertson and their son, John Luke, journeyed to the service to support the work God is doing in West’s life.
“Straight up night of praise and worship with joy, humility, thankfulness, bold faith, and power. Jesus is King. His name was lifted high in this place. Yes, God, more of this,” Korie said.
John Luke captioned his Instagram post, “This is exactly what we have been praying for!”

Curvine Brewington, a pastor and musician at Crossroads Church in Lafayette, also attended the service.
West hosted the service outside of Bethany Church with none of the frills of standard concerts.
There were no stages or video boards to assist those who were farther away.
West opened the service with popular song “Closed On Sunday,” according to Baton Rouge’s The Advocate.
In addition to the thousands of people who joined in the worship, West brought his 6-year-old daughter North, and 3-year-old son Saint. West expressed a recent recommitment to his family as part of his salvation.
At one point during the service, West put the children on his shoulders so they could take in the environment.
West launched his Sunday Services earlier this year after a word from the Lord.
West said the Lord spoke to him when he was hospitalized for “dehydration” and “Exhaustion” in 2017. West felt the Lord tell him to start a church in Calabasas, California, which later became the popular Sunday Service.
“God put it on my heart, taking me to new levels,” West said.
West has hosted the services in Los Angeles, Chicago, Atlanta, Dayton, and Coachella (a music festival held in California.
Though the album has received mixed reviews, West is glorifying the name of God and proclaiming it across the nation).
