2009 was the year that learning to love others, especially your father, brought real self-esteem and overcame selfishness and gluttony in CLOUDY WITH A CHANCE OF MEATBALLS.

2009 was the year that the ANTICHRIST bombed at the box office.

2009 was the year that STAR TREK honored the life of an about to be born Jim Kirk and later told him to live up to his potential.

2009 was the year that prayer and forgiveness brought reconciliation to blood enemies in INVICTUS and thus saved a nation from self-destruction.

2009 was the year that a Terminator sought salvation in TERMINATOR SALVATION.

2009 was the year that Hollywood made a virtue out of being yourself and being good in HANNAH MONTANA THE MOVIE.

2009 was the year that Hollywood extolled intelligent design in EARTH.

2009 was the year that television showed that the Gospel can transform an inner city angry African American boy into a great, prayerful, internationally renowned surgeon in GIFTED HANDS: THE BEN CARSON STORY.

2009 was the year that Hollywood exposed the evils of radical Islam in THE STONING OF SORAYA M.

2009 was the year that Hollywood understood that God governs in the affairs of the universe in KNOWING.

2009 was the year that Tyler Perry told us to let go and let God in TYLER PERRY’S I CAN DO BAD ALL BY MYSELF.

2009 was the year that young men did not want to look at Playboy’s MISS MARCH.

2009 was the year that Will Ferrell got lost in the looney, left wing LAND OF THE LOST.

2009 was the year that Zack Snyder put the WATCHMEN to sleep.

2009 was the year that YEAR ONE got its date with oblivion.

2009 was the year that THE LOVELY BONES tried to confuse hell for heaven.

2009 was the year that Communist movies like CAPITALISM: A LOVE STORY bombed at the box office.

2009 was the year that pedophile movies like I LOVE YOU, BETH COOPER bombed at the box office.

2009 was the year that homosexual movies like BRÜNO bombed at the box office.

2009 was the year sex did not sell – again.

2009 was the year foul language did not sell – again.

2009 was the year graphic nudity did not sell – again.

2009 was the year that homosexuality did not sell – again.

And, finally, 2009 was the year in which movies reflecting Christian and biblical principles and practices with morally uplifting content continued to be far more financially successful than those that didn’t.
