Despite technical difficulties, AMERICAN IDOL alumnus-turned-judge Carrie Underwood belted out a stunning version of “America the Beautiful,” during the inauguration.
When the music failed, Underwood did not. What began as her easing into the song soon turned to the powerhouse vocals she’s known for.
