DUCK DYNASTY’s Sadie Robertson Huff says you are a masterpiece when you have God’s light shining in you.

“You are a masterpiece, not meant to just display the Glory of God and your beauty, but to actually do the work of Christ,” Huff explained in a clip from her “Whoa That’s Good” podcast. “And what’s the work of Christ? To love God and love people, and so opposite of self-centeredness.”

It’s the outward actions that matter.

“That’s why these 100-year-olds are saying, ‘Take care of yourself so that you can do good work. So that you can show up and be present,'” she said.

Her mom, Korie, used the example of her mom and grandmother. They are beautiful women, but what pours out of them is even more beautiful.

Huff captioned the clip, “YOU ARE A MASTERPIECE!  Not for what you look like, but for who God has created you to be. 🩷 For the one who needs to hear that reminder today…this episode is for you. 🫶🏻”

When Huff was on DANCING WITH THE STARS, she received a lot of comments about her body that made her feel insecure about her looks. Eventually, she learned that her looks aren’t all that important.

“I started praising God and thanking him for the way that I looked, instead of looking in the mirror and saying, ‘Ugh, I wish my arms were thinner, I wish my legs were more toned, I wish I had her eyebrows’ …whatever it was that I would tell myself,” she said.

“Instead I would tell myself, ‘I am so thankful that I have this. I’m so thankful that my legs actually serve the purpose that they should and that they’re able to run, that my arms are able to carry things,” she said. “That my stomach one day, hopefully, will be able to carry a baby.’ Just what we’re actually designed and created for.”

In another of her videos, she explained how each person that God creates is unique.

“All of us truly were knit together in our mother’s womb. We’re created by a God who is so intentional and made us original. That word original literally means ‘without copy.’”

“You’re not an imitation of someone else; you are made without copy. You’re wonderful, beautiful, unique. There’s no one else who looks like you, and that’s a good thing,” she said.

Huff’s message is clear. When we stop focusing on appearance and prioritize Godly virtues, we reflect true beauty.
