What You Need To Know:
The degrading anonymous liaisons that Erik and Paul enjoy before they become a couple alienate the characters from viewers. Even when they do get together, the relationship is clearly about sex, drugs and lust, not true love. Also, because the filmmakers have a politically correct, immoral, ungodly attitude toward sex, they never see Paul’s drug addiction for what it is: a symptom of his homosexual sin. Finally, although the movie condemns drug addiction, it shows addiction and self-indulgence are an essential part of the homosexual lifestyle. That’s why, of course, God condemns homosexual acts as evil and loathsome. Ultimately, KEEP THE LIGHTS ON is morally abhorrent.
Content:
(PaPaPa, PCPCPC, HoHoHo, B, C, LL, SSS, NNN, AA, DDD, MM) Very strong politically correct, pro-homosexual pagan worldview with a message against drug addiction and brief Christmas dinner scene with an extended family; 14 obscenities (including some “f” words), three strong profanities, seven light profanities, and man vomits; no violence; extreme sexual immorality includes depicted and implied homosexual sex, depicted self abuse to the point of release, homosexual kissing, one-night stands with people of the same sex, phone sex; full male nudity in one shot, plenty of upper and rear male nudity elsewhere; alcohol use and drunkenness, plus mention of having a problem with alcohol plus drugs; depicted crack smoking and man has a serious problem with illegal drugs but keeps relapsing; and, lying, cheating, man’s homosexual boyfriend disappears about three times to go on drug binges.
More Detail:
The story opens with Erik, a documentary filmmaker from Denmark, trolling for quick sexual liaisons by phone. In one of those liaisons, he meets Paul, a closeted young lawyer with a girlfriend. Erik and Paul become a couple, however. Soon, they are living together. Then, Paul’s addiction to drugs comes between them.

It contains graphic sex and nudity, drug abuse, cheating, and lying, with plenty foul language.
