Once upon a time, I specialized in Communications Law after graduating from NYU Law School, but even with this comprehensive background, I found this book to be absolutely eye opening in its carefully reasoned and carefully supported assessments of the various congressional and other federal measures aimed at limiting speech in the United States of America.
A best selling author, Brad covers the deceptive notion of the Fairness Doctrine, which is really the “unfairness doctrine.” He shows clearly how the Fairness Doctrine limited free speech before President Ronald Reagan appointed a Federal Communications Commission that freed America from its stranglehold on free speech. He explains why our First Amendment rights are in jeopardy as the government moves to shut down conservative talk radio, and most all forms of political speech.
