Great American Family just announced that production is underway on upcoming holiday movie A CHRISTMAS LIST OF BLESSINGS.
“A CHRISTMAS LIST OF BLESSINGS is a heartfelt film about the miracles that happen when people come together for the greater good, and it is a powerful reminder of why we celebrate the season,” Bill Abbott, President & CEO of Great American Media, said in a statement. “Rooted in faith, family, and community, the film exemplifies what makes Great American Christmas stand apart from other holiday movie events. Great American Christmas original films reflect the true meaning of the season with heart, purpose, and authenticity.”
The movie follows Natalie, a children’s book illustrator who is dealing with creative burnout. After coming across the Christmas list of a little girl named Caroline, she starts to feel inspired — instead of toys, Caroline has asked Jesus to bless her friends, family and neighbors.
Natalie decides to secretly fulfill each of Caroline’s requests, leading her to create a new book character, Adeline the Angel, to show readers how Jesus works through us all to answer prayers.

GAF is currently celebrating “Great American Christmas in July,” running various holiday programming on their channel.
“Great American Christmas in July is more than a mid-year tradition — it is a joyful celebration of what our viewers love: stories that uplift, inspire, and bring families together,” Abbott said in a statement. “This year, it also marks the beginning of the countdown to something truly special — the 5th Anniversary of Great American Christmas, which returns bigger and brighter than ever this October.”
This year’s Great American Christmas lineup hasn’t been released yet, but the network has teased a few upcoming movies, including the Mario Lopez-led A CHRISTMAS SPARK and TIMELESS TIDINGS OF JOY, starring Candace Cameron Bure.
“It has been a joy to produce and star in A CHRISTMAS SPARK,” Lopez said in a statement. “The movie is extra special to me because of my admiration for firefighters who worked night and day to save lives and property during the recent fires in Los Angeles. Each time I wore the firefighter uniform it was a personal tribute to the brave men and women who worked tirelessly to save our city. Their courage, selflessness, and resilience embody true heroism, and this project is dedicated to them … true heroes.”
Bure also spoke excitedly of her GAF project, saying TIMELESS TIDINGS OF JOY “harkens back to a simpler time and the core values passed to us by our parents and grandparents. It reminds us that the best gifts we receive are the ones we freely give away.”
With all these exciting Christmas movies scheduled in the coming months, we can’t wait for the holiday season!
