Bear Grylls will take your favorite Hollywood stars on a wild ride in new season of BEAR GRYLLS IS RUNNING WILD.
“[BEAR GRYLLS IS RUNNING WILD] combines epic adventure with intimate, human storytelling, which pairs perfectly with Fox’s premium unscripted slate,” Michael Thorn, President of Fox Television Network, said in a statement. “Bear has a rare ability to push people beyond their comfort zones in ways that are both visceral and emotionally revealing, and this new season raises the bar — from breathtaking locations to the remarkable guests joining him on these unforgettable journeys.”
In a newly-released trailer, fans see Grylls going on adventures to deserts, glaciers, mountains and rainforests with celebrity friends in tow.
“Bear takes his guests on unforgettable adventures in breath-taking wilderness and reveals a side of some of your favorite people like you’ve never seen before,” an official synopsis of the show reads. “This season, Bear Grylls leads cast members on a globe-spanning adventure through some of the planet’s most unforgiving landscapes — from Norway’s glacial wilderness to the legendary mountains of Eryri in Wales. The journeys cut through Arctic rainforest, vast canyonlands and brutal desert terrain, pushing participants to their limits with glacier crossings, canyon descents, high-risk extractions and an adrenaline-charged freefall from 11,000 feet, into an adventure along the Irish Sea.”

The full cast list for this season of BEAR GRYLLS IS RUNNING WILD includes actors Elizabeth Banks, Rhys Darby, Colman Domingo, Tiffany Haddish, Matthew McConaughey, Michelle Monaghan and Uma Thurman, as well as rapper Machine Gun Kelly.
This the first season of the show since 2023, when it aired on NBC starting in 2014. It later moved to Nat Geo, titled RUNNING WILD WITH BEAR GRYLLS then RUNNING WILD WITH BEAR GRYLLS: THE CHALLENGE.
Grylls recently premiered another show, WILD RECKONING, on the BBC. The show follows Grylls and his guests as they work through personal conflicts and heal relationship rifts, all while working together in the Welsh wilderness.
In an interview with the BBC, Grylls described the show as “taking people who have basically some of the most life-changing challenges in their relationships out into the wild for two days to see if the wild can do what regular counselling can’t.”
“I really am [proud of the series],” he said. “I think it’s one of the most rewarding and beautiful things I’ve been involved in; it’s just real lives, real emotions and real relationships.”
BEAR GRYLLS IS RUNNING WILD premieres April 21 on FOX.
