Tom Holland just gave fans an up-close look at his new Spidey suit for his upcoming movie SPIDER-MAN: BRAND NEW DAY as his Peter Parker returns to his roots.
In a video shared on X, Holland approaches fans for selfies while “giving cameras a perfectly clear view of his thinner, blue-and-red, comic book accurate suit for the next MCU SPIDER-MAN film,” Comic Book Resource said.

BRAND NEW DAY, the fourth installment in the Holland-led webslinger franchise, picks up where 2021’s SPIDER-MAN: NO WAY OFF left off — everybody, including Peter Parker’s closest friends, has forgotten his name after he “sacrificed his identity to save the world,” per ScreenRant.
Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige told CBR that BRAND NEW DAY will be “such a big deal for Spider-Man in the MCU.”
“There’s a promise at the end of NO WAY HOME that, for as sad as it is, that Peter is forgotten by everyone in his life,” he said. “We are seeing for the first time in the Tom Holland Spider-Man stories, him being a proper Spider-Man. Him being, by himself, dedicated to saving the city, and dealing with — for lack of a better term — street-level crime as opposed to world-ending events that he faced when working with the other characters.”
Spider-Man will be joined by Jon Bernthal’s Frank Castle aka The Punisher as BRAND NEW DAY returns Peter Parker to his NYC roots.
“So when you do that, you say, ‘OK, who are the other street-level characters that we’ve never seen him interact with?’ And of course, I love that the Punisher started in a Spider-Man comic, and that great cover…I don’t wanna say too much, but I will say too much,” Feige added. “Destin is doing an amazing job right now on that movie…he’s got 8 or 9 comic covers up on his wall in his art department that he is bringing to life in this movie. It’s super cool.”
Along with Holland and Bernthal, BRAND NEW DAY stars Zendaya as MJ and Jacob Batalon as Ned. Mark Ruffalo and Michael Mando will reprise their roles as the Hulk and Scorpion, respectively. Sadie Sink has also joined the cast. Destin Daniel Cretton directs while Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers return to write.
Earlier this month, Holland posted a clip announcing production began. “Are you ready?” he asked in the caption. The movie will debut in theaters July 31, 2026.
