By Movieguide® Contributor
Christian artists Danny Gokey and Natalie Grant have once again teamed up for their annual Christmas tour.
In a video posted on the singers’ social media pages, the pair announced the start of the tour on Dec. 5 while also sharing many laughs.
Gokey isn’t sure if he’s ready for it, but he’s “prayed up.”
This is the duo’s ninth year doing this tour, and even through all of the teasing, they “love it” and can’t wait to celebrate Christ’s birth again with their fans.
Grant wrote in the caption of the video, “@DannyGokey and I are so excited to announce our 9th annual Celebrate Christmas tour is back this December!!!!!!! 🎅🏽🎄🧑🏻🎄 Tickets go on sale this Friday, but you can use the code ✨CELEBRATE✨ to get access NOW!”
“If you can’t tell, we always have an incredible (and hilarious) time together 🤣 And the Christmas season is absolutely our favorite time of year,” she added. “Get your tickets now at celebratechristmastour.com or at the link in our bios to get the best possible seats!”
The 10-day tour will include stops at Virginia Beach, VA; Greenville, SC; Nashville, TN; Fayetteville, NC; Waukegan, IL (Chicago Area), Champaign, IL; Wabash, IN; and a TBA location on Dec. 14.
At the end of last year’s tour, Gokey shared his gratitude for an unforgettable opportunity.
“It was such a privilege and joy to share the stage with my friend @nataliegrant for the 8th YEAR,” Gokey said before adding, “and so fun to be joined this time by the incomparable @macpowell. As always, so grateful for the amazing group of talented musicians and dedicated crew who make this possible, and to all of YOU who came out to join us in not only celebrating the holiday, but more importantly worshiping together in the true Spirit of Christmas!”

Movieguide® previously reported on Gokey:
Danny Gokey is sharing how, even in the darkest times, he held onto his faith.
“Because of our limited understanding, here’s one thing I’ve learned,” the Christian singer-songwriter said in conversation with Kirk Cameron. “We have such limited understanding. This is why, when you don’t understand Him, always stay on God’s side.”
Gokey continued, “Because…like the disciples sticking with Him when they didn’t understand it, when you get to the end of that road, you’re like, ‘Oh, my gosh! I see it all!’ And now that you have a deeper trust, a deeper love, and a deeper understanding, and a deeper friendship with God. Hard times can really refine you and deepen a relationship. So yeah, I’d be a fool to walk away from the Lord.”
He also shared some advice for people who are struggling with their faith in hopeless times.
“It’s worth it to follow Him,” Gokey said. “Lean not on your own understanding. It’s time to get out of your own mind, because you are not your savior. God saves to the utmost.”
