How This Actor Shines Christ’s Light Everywhere He Goes

Actor Kristoffer Polaha explained how he shows people the love of Jesus Christ while interacting with them in everyday life.
“So for me to look like Jesus, it’s ‘How do I go to work and interface with people from every walk of life and love them and see them like God sees them?’” Polaha told Breakthrough Academy. “[To] not sit there and judge them and be like, ‘Eh, you’re gonna burn in hell.’ Like, ‘Good like buddy.’ How do I love them?”
“Sort of like, ‘How do I, when I’m with a person, how do I meet them where they’re at?’ And I think biblically, I think that aligns,” he continued. “[The Bible] says, ‘When you’re with, you know, the grieving, you grieve. And when you’re with someone who’s laughing, laugh.’ There’s a time for all of it, like, without sinning, without selling myself out or going against my own nature. And then I have to protect, and I think that’s where maturity and wisdom and discernment come into play and self-control comes into play because I’ve got to protect my own soul and my own safety. I’ve got to protect my marriage. I’ve got to protect my family.”
Polaha often tackles this approach to life through his movies. He has starred in numerous projects that shine a light on evil and expose dark occurrences in this world for the sake of lifting up the broken and vulnerable.
He has worked extensively with Tim Tebow to combat the human trafficking industry and has saved thousands from that life.

“We are talking about human trafficking and the sex trade industry. And we’re trying to put caps on legalizing prostitution,” he said. “And it’s a really interesting conversation about abuse, about spousal abuse, about sex trafficking, about pornography, and women’s rights, frankly, and we’re helping women, and I say, we, there’s a board. A woman named Janet Jensen, made a lot of money in her lifetime and has dedicated her time to giving it away to grants.”
“What the Jensen Project is doing is trying to highlight very small and grassroots organizations. But incredible things are being done. There’s this thing, an organization called The NOCSE, the National Outreach Center for Sexual Exploitation, I believe, that is pursuing places like Twitter and Google and Amazon.”
Ultimately, he knows his Hollywood success isn’t really about him but an avenue for his fans to find God.
“Being in a relationship with a God that I believe loves me kind of changes the whole narrative because it lets me know who I am. It’s not Hollywood, or my agent. It’s not anything that’s going to define who I am,” Polaha told the Christian Post.
