Sadie Robertson Huff Shares Amazing Testimony: God ‘Writes the Coolest Stories’
By Movieguide® Contributor
Sadie Robertson Huff recently took to Instagram to share an amazing story of how God works in unexpected ways.
While in Tennessee to speak for a conference, Huff went to a little coffee shop. The shop was closed, but a man offered to make her a coffee anyway. As they conversed, he shared his inspiring story.
“He goes on to share that around 6 months ago one of his friends told him to go on a walk and ask God to reveal Himself to him,” Huff wrote. “He said he didn’t really take it seriously because he has never been a Christian, but he was going through a hard time so thought why not. Before his walk he thought ‘I’ll stop and grab a coffee for my walk.’”
The man explained to Huff how when he went into the coffee shop, there was worship music playing and a prayer request box. The man wrote a prayer for the box, asking God to show him that he loves him.
“Next thing he knows a kid at the coffee shop came up to him and tried to give him his bracelet! He kept blowing it off and finally he gave up and took the bracelet. To his absolute shock the bracelet literally said God loves you, always has, always will.’”
After this experience, the man gave his life to God and began going to church. When the coffee shop went out of business, the man decided to purchase it.
“Y’all, God is real! He writes the coolest stories!” Huff said. “Never underestimate the power of worship music playing in the background or a bracelet that says ‘God loves you.’ It might be the very thing that changed someone’s life.”
Many commented in response to the touching story.
“Could not love this more ?,” one user said. “What a testimony. And a reminder to ask others their testimony!” another person commented.
Huff rose to prominence on her family’s reality TV show DUCK DYNASTY.
Today, she uses her platform to point others to Christ.
Last week, she encouraged her followers to “rebrand” and reorient their perspective when life gets chaotic.
“[Rebranding] is actually a powerful tool! people are literally hired to go into company’s and rebrand them! the don’t go and change everything the company does – they just change how the company is perceived,” Huff wrote. “Sometimes in life – you can’t change what has been done, but you can change your perspective on it.”
Movieguide® previously reported on Huff:
Sadie Robertson Huff and Airbnb owner Joy Caissie recently discussed the importance of hospitality as Christians.
“As far as hospitality goes, I didn’t realize that so many things through the years were really leading me to this point of hospitality being my life, and even being a ministry for us,” Caissie said of her and her husband Clay’s rental properties while appearing on Huff’s “WHOA That’s Good” podcast. “We connect with so many people, we have so many meaningful conversations, and we share our story with people that come through there.”
The couple’s Airbnb listing reflects that joy in connecting with others — “we both have hearts for loving people and hospitality is our specialty!!” their profile on the site reads.
Huff and Caissie met after Huff and her husband Christian rented from the Caissies. She shared that she was struck by the couple’s hands-on approach to renting the house—and she wasn’t the only one.
