The free streamer Rokit Flix has quickly grown to reach a sizable audience after only 18 months of business by catering to family audiences.

The service reached 1 million downloads over the summer and currently offers over 31,000 hours of streamable content, with new shows and movies coming every Thursday.

The majority of Rokit Flix’s content caters to kids both through art style and story.
“ROKiT Flix’s approach is clear – to be a creative outlet that makes free, safe and educational content accessible to anyone with a mobile device,” the streamer said when it first launched in May 2023.
The most popular shows include FIONA FATALE, a show about a female super spy working in 1960 Britain’s espionage world; OH NO NOLAN!, a 2D series about a little boy able to transform into anything he can imagine; and THE SLIME FAMILY, a family who resides in the sewers of New York City and develops the perfect slime for children to play with.
The streamer also offers other content in its library such as interactive games, motion comics and radio programs. Parents can access to more mature content through password-protected adult profiles.
The instant success of Rokit Flix points to the power of family-friendly content. Its ability to generate so many users in such a short time proves that audiences want, more than anything else, uplifting content that they can view with their children and trust will teach them positive lessons.
