THE HUNGER GAMES catches fire to take the weekend
THE HUNGER GAMES: CATCHING FIRE opened to the second largest box office of 2013 coming within $10 million of IRON MAN 3. This is an amazing feat in that Lionsgate is not one of the big six MPAA studios and the budget was considerably less than several major studio tentpoles.   Disney/Marvel’s THOR: THE DARK WORLD cam in second and has barely made more in three weeks than HUNGER GAMES 2 made in three days. THE BEST MAN HOLIDAY came in third, DELIVERY MAN 4th and FREE BIRDS 5th. Disney’s FROZEN opens wide this week,
