Review:

I BELIEVE is a very powerful short movie exposing the sinfulness of the human heart and the need to repent.
Randall is a hospital chaplain. He is speaking in the chapel to an empty congregation. Each point of his sermon is refuted by a flashback from his own life.
His first point is that our words and deeds may be the only Bible somebody ever sees. He talks about a car accident and his exemplary attitude. A flashback shows him screaming and yelling at the other driver.
In his sermon, he talks about honoring his father and mother. In a flashback, it shows him cursing his dying father.
He talks about the need for chastity and commitment, where the flashback shows him making a pass at a woman seeking his comfort and consolation as the hospital’s chaplain.
The whole story shows that our days on Earth are numbered, and we need to do more than just profess with our lips, but live out our faith in our lives. I BELIEVE is a small movie but worth watching and sharing with others. The writing is very compelling. The direction is excellent. Anybody who watches it will be convicted of his sins.
