Once there, Kate is cruelly excluded by her classmates for being overweight, Randall wanders off to befriend other black children, and Kevin almost drowns while his parents focus their attentions on Kate and Randall. Grown-up Kate is shown struggling with her image when Toby’s beautiful ex-wife, Josie, shows up unexpectedly.
