More Detail:

THE MANDALORIAN is a popular science fiction series premiering on Disney+ that takes place after the fall of the Empire in the STAR WARS universe.

Season One of THE MANDALORIAN begins by following a bounty hunter known only as “The Mandalorian,” who successfully tracks down a series of bounties and bring them back to his Guild. Seeking an even bigger payout, the Mandalorian accepts a new commission from a client with Imperial connections to track down an unnamed, 50-year-old target. When the target is revealed to be a child from Jedi Master Yoda’s species, the bounty hunter tries to remain emotionally unaffected and brings the child to the client for a handsome reward.

However, despite his best efforts, the Mandalorian can’t ignore the child’s plight. In the third episode, he secretly returns to the client site and realizes the child is to be killed. The Mandalorian breaks into the client’s base and rescues the child, making himself a wanted man. Where can they hide? How will they live?

The cinematography and editing in THE MANDALORIAN are excellent and blend seamlessly with the appearance and effects of the STAR WARS movies. The plot and character development, however, sometimes leave something to be desired. However, as an action series, THE MANDALORIAN definitely delivers.

There is minimal objectionable content in the series with no nudity and a negligible amount of foul language and sexual content. Frequent action violence is a distinctive factor in this series with countless firefights, hand-to-hand combat scenes, and explosions. The overarching worldview in this series is New Age paganism. The Force is referenced, and different sects of people and alien creatures follow various codes of ethics. The series has some moral redemptive supporting elements, though, promoting various values such as gratitude, honesty, compassion, and friendship. Due to the action violence and the New Age worldview, THE MANDALORIAN is unsuitable for younger children, and caution is advised for older children.
