Watch: Former AGT Contestants ‘Korean Soul’ Perform Gospel Song at NBA Game

Korean Soul, a group of gospel singers from Korea, recently performed ‘All My Life’ at halftime for Korean Heritage night at the LA Clipper’s home game on Jan. 13.
During their run on AMERICA’S GOT TALENT, the four members of Korean Soul were open about their Christian faith which first drew them to sing classic gospel songs.

Despite their evident talent, Korean Soul is giving all credit to God.
Sooyong Yoon, Shyun Lee, Jifan Lee, and Young J. comprise the group, who have little exposure aside from a presence on YouTube.
Their performance already has over 700K views. The group has thanked fans, old and new, but continues to champion their group’s reason for doing what they do: their faith in Christ.
“Tonight I keep remind myself the verse saying ‘I Am That I Am’ from Exodus 3:14 which is ‘And God said unto Moses, I Am That I Am: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I Am hath sent me unto you,’” Yoon wrote on Instagram. “‘I Am That I Am’ It really sounds to me like ‘I am everything you need.’ And before the rehearsal, a word that came up on my mind was ‘Healing.’ Most of all on the performance tomorrow, I wanted to bring people a healing.
“But then another thought came upon my mind saying ‘Am I deserve to bring people a healing by singing? a person like me?’ Behind all the applause I saw myself who have been terrible and disappointing hiding behind the image I made. But today I came across another bible verse 2 Corinthians 12:9,” Yoon continued. “But he said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness. Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.’
“His power is shown up not from who I used to be but from my weakness. Made perfect!! I need God’s healing because I am weak. I can sing your healing not because I did everything great but because my weakness needs your healing,” he added. “It sounded like ‘You weak Sooyong who need my grace, Go and Sing and bring people that ‘I Am Healing’ and sing to yourself ‘I Am Healing.’ Amazing grace because my weakness makes his healing greater. Pray for me to sing boldly and bravely on the show and to bring myself and people the message ‘I Am Healing.’”
