First look photos tease snippets of Marvel’s upcoming feature, SPIDER-MAN: BRAND NEW DAY.
One photo shows Spider-Man saving a man as he web-slings between two buildings. A voice is heard saying the word “rebirth.” Gizmodo points out that the image replicates a an iconic Spider-Man Comic book cover in “Amazing Fantasy #15.”
Trailer snippet reveals have been hopping from one place to another as Marvel’s marketing team partners with influencers to share snippets, one location at a time, Variety reported.

Mexican influencer Alex Arelleno shared a peek, “It’s a brand new day in Mexico City! Check out a piece of the new #SpiderManBrandNewDay trailer! Passing to @sarahfbabeee in Las Vegas, USA next @SpiderManMovie @SonyPictures”
The movie wrapped filming in December.
Director Destin Daniel Cretton thanked star Tom Holland for his “kind, generous leadership on and off screen, for your relentless work ethic, your fearless performances and for your friendship. I’m so deeply grateful for the people who walked with me through the biggest, most rewarding film I’ve ever been a part of.”
He continued, “To our amazing cast, for breathing so much life into these beloved characters and moving us every day. To our unbelievable crew, who worked tirelessly with unmatched creativity and craftsmanship, who made me laugh so hard my stomach never stopped hurting. I love you all so much and can’t wait for the world to see your stunning work on the big screen.”
Along with Holland’s return, the movie stars Michael Mando as Scorpion, Marvin Jones III as Tombstone. Sadie Sink will also star, but her role is not yet revealed. The most popular rumor is that she’ll star as villain Jean Grey, Screen Rant said.
An official tie-in book for the movie hints the movie’s synopsis: “Four years have gone by since we last caught up with our friendly neighborhood hero, Peter Parker is no more, but Spider-Man is at the top of his game keeping New York City safe. Things are going well for our anonymous hero until an unusual trail of crimes pulls him into a web of mystery larger than he’s ever faced before. In order to take on what’s ahead, Spider-Man not only needs to be at the top of his physical and mental game, but he must also be prepared to face the repercussions of his past!”
The movie drops at the end of July.
