BRADY BUNCH Cast Reveals Just What Happened to Show’s Pets
By Movieguide® Contributor
THE BRADY BUNCH cast members are addressing what happened to their furry friends who went missing from the hit show.
The show ran for five seasons from 1969-1974. Early on, the sitcom featured a family dog named “Tiger” who seemed to disappear from the show entirely.
“Watching the early shows with Tiger, Tiger’s an important element, you’re right,” Christopher Knight, who played Peter Brady, said. “And he just disappears.”
Barry Williams, who played Greg Brady, attributes the disappearance to the lack of the show’s focus on continuity.
“Continuity was not one of the strong points of our show,” he explained. “And so one day he’s there, one day he’s not there.”
Tiger wasn’t the only pet to disappear.
New York Post said “Plumb, who played middle child Jan, pointed out that in the series pilot episode, the Brady girls — Marsha, Jan and Cindy — had a cat, Fluffy, who was never seen again. Family pets in the Brady household ‘just sort of faded away,’ Plumb, 66, noted.”
Though short-lived, THE BRADY BUNCH is still iconic to this day.

Growing up in front of the world wasn’t always easy, though.
“You can hear the voice changing, you can see the hair changing, you can see the growth spurts going on with all of us,” Williams said previously. “So, it was sometimes awkward and sometimes fun.”
Fans can get a sneak peek into what life was like for THE BRADY BUNCH cast by visiting the show’s iconic house.
“Up until now, visitors have only been able to drive by and take photos of the house’s exterior. But thanks to Tina Trahan, an art collector who purchased the home from HGTV in 2023, fans have a chance to win a flight to LA, where they’ll brunch with the BRADY BUNCH cast at the Brady house,” the New York Post reported.
