GAF’s Cameron Mathison Posts Sweet Message as Daughter Goes to Prom

Great American Family actor Cameron Mathison recently took to Instagram to post several sweet photos with his 17-year-old daughter Leila before her senior prom.
“Senior Prom. Leila, I want you to know that you are always on my mind and in my heart,” his post began. “I’m so grateful for every moment I get to spend with you, and remember no matter where life takes you always know that you are loved beyond measure. You are such an incredible daughter and I’m so proud of the person you have become.
Love dad❤️”
The actor added, “(The last photo I may have a tear or two ?)”
The photos posted show Leila in a black prom dress with a black and white corsage, holding her dad close.
“We are lucky beyond belief❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️” his wife Vanessa commented.
Leila also commented on her dad’s post: “Oh papa I love you so much…. Will never forget this moment ❤️”
Cameron and Vanessa share two children: Lucas, 21, and Leila, 17. US Weekly previously reported that the couple is committed to their family amid their busy careers.
“The duo, who reside in California, have continued to stay connected by traveling, spending time as a family and even working together. While Vanessa isn’t an actress, she made an appearance alongside Cameron on GENERAL HOSPITAL in 2022 and has been featured on his Great American Media app series, THE GOOD LIFE WITH CAMERON MATHISON, which is part of the company’s Great American Community programming,” US Weekly wrote.
Last year, Mathison signed a multi-picture deal with GAF.

At the 2024 Movieguide® Awards, the actor revealed why he wants to create uplifting content.
“Well, I think there’s a lot of really fun things to celebrate. I think…these awards get to emphasize really family-friendly, positive, inspiring, upbeat content, and I’m all about [that],” he told Movieguide®. “That’s how I lived my life and that’s who I want to be surrounded by.”
