A COZY CHRISTMAS QUILT is a romance on Great American Family. The artistic director of the community center, Amy Walker, gets news that she’s one of four finalists for an art fellowship. Her joy is cut short, however, when a local fire inspector, Liam Sullivan, rules the center must close down in 30 days if it doesn’t renovate its sprinkler system. Liam promises to help Amy bring the center up to code if she teaches him to make a traditional family quilt for his sister’s upcoming Christmas wedding. Of course, all three of these plots or subplots, the romance, the fellowship and making the quilt, hit a snag.

Also, the movie has a strong moral worldview about honoring family traditions, artistic integrity and dealing openly with people. A COZY CHRISTMAS QUILT is set during Christmas and includes a Christmas carol in the background. Also, the quilt Liam makes for his sister is centered on the theme of the Christmas star in the Nativity Story.

A COZY CHRISTMAS QUILT is a romance on Great American Family about a fireman who promises to help the artistic director of the local community center bring the center up to code if she teaches him to make a traditional family quilt for his sister’s upcoming Christmas wedding. A COZY CHRISTMAS QUILT is a warm, engaging romance about honoring family traditions, artistic integrity and dealing openly with people.

As the movie opens, the artistic director of the community center, Amy Walker, gets news that she’s one of four finalists for an art fellowship. Her joy is cut short, however, when a local fire in inspector, Liam Sullivan, rules that the center must close down in 30 days of it doesn’t renovate its sprinkler system.

Meanwhile, Liam’s sister, Lauren, announces her engagement to her boyfriend. Liam and Lauren’s parents died in a car accident 10 years ago, and Liam has had to raise his sister in their place. Traditionally, their family has always had Christmas weddings. Also, the women in the family have always given the newlyweds the gift of a homemade Christmas quilt. However, Lauren’s future husband is being transferred to Italy. So, they only have five weeks to plan the wedding at Christmas. And, Liam feels obligated to make a quilt for his sister.

So, Liam agrees to help Amy bring the community center up to code if she will teach him how to make the quilt. Liam also agrees to help Amy raise funds to renovate the sprinkler system.

Of course, all three of these plots or subplots, the romance, the fellowship and making the quilt, hit a snag.

For example, both Amy and Liam are a little hesitant about declaring their feelings for one another. Also, it turns out that Amy’s mentor is also up for the fellowship. Amy feels inadequate next to her and tries to copy her mentor’s style. However, Liam encourages her to have faith in her own artistic vision.

A COZY CHRISTMAS QUILT is set during Christmas and includes a Christmas carol in the background. Also, the quilt Liam makes for his sister is centered on the theme of the Christmas star in the Nativity Story about the birth of Jesus.
