The first trailer for the highly anticipated NCIS: TONY & ZIVA just dropped, and fans are buzzing!

“NCIS: TONY & ZIVA picks up after Ziva’s supposed death when Tony left the NCIS team to go raise their daughter,” a press release from Paramount+ shared. “Years later, Ziva was discovered alive, leading her to complete one final mission with NCIS before she was reunited with Tony and their daughter in Paris.”

The press release continued, “Since then — and where we find them in NCIS: TONY & ZIVA — Tony and Ziva have been raising their daughter, Tali, together. When Tony’s security company is attacked, they must go on the run across Europe, try to figure out who is after them and maybe even learn to trust each other again so they can finally have their unconventional happily ever after.”

The trailer shows Tony, played by Michael Weatherly, and Ziva, played by Cote de Pablo, racing through Europe, taking on bad guys and trying to figure out their complicated relationship.

There is no set date for the premiere of NCIS: TONY & ZIVA, but Paramount+ confirmed it will be coming out sometime this fall.

Weatherly shared his excitement to reprise his role in the NCISverse in a statement, saying, “It was surprising how Cote and I just fell into this new place with our characters. Informed by the past, illuminated by the present and trying to see a future together. These characters are on the adventure of a lifetime. And hopefully, so is the viewer.”

In an interview with TV Insider, the pair discussed working on TONY & ZIVA, with de Pablo sharing, “We have to understand these characters, much like Michael and Cote, have evolved.”

“TONY & ZIVA should really be called TONY & ZIVA & TALI because their priority now, both of them, is Tali, not themselves or each other,” Weatherly said, adding that fans will see a “brand new” dynamic between the characters.

The actors also serve as executive producers on the show, which de Pablo called ”a real surprise and kind of fun to be a part of.”

“It’s also made me respect actors and all the people that are making this thing happen,” she added. “We’re getting, for example, a taste of castings and these actors are very good and it’s very hard to choose and sometimes there are things that have nothing to do with the performance.”

NCIS: TONY & ZIVA might not premiere for a few more months, but for now, the new trailer is stirring up plenty of excitement!
