BREAKING UPWARDS

What You Need To Know:

BREAKING UPWARDS is a low budget story of a young Jewish couple trying to decide if they should break up or stay together. After a lewd opening scene, it quickly becomes clear that the young couple and their parents think nothing of using obscenities and profanities. To see if they were meant for each other, the couple spends some time apart drinking and fornicating with others. The girl’s Jewish mother uses drugs and even brings them to a religious celebration.

BREAKING UPWARDS is an absolutely abhorrent movie about an abhorrent lifestyle lived by children and their parents. These characters participate in Jewish celebrations but live as if the Ten Commandments no longer apply. In fact, the filmmaker himself describes the movie as “exploring alternatives to monogamy.” BREAKING UPWARDS is also poorly made, with a substandard story and flat characters. There is very little for moviegoers to enjoy about this movie. Because of the movie’s voluminous negative content and wicked pagan worldview, BREAKING UPWARDS is unacceptable viewing. The lifestyle portrayed in this movie leads to venereal disease, distrust, emptiness and misery. Worse, it demonstrates the lack of a relationship to God.

Content:
