Apple TV+ Announces New Children and Family Content This Fall, Including New CHARLIE BROWN Content

Apple TV+ recently announced its new fall slate of TV shows for children and families, which features content geared to audiences as young as preschool.
The full slate includes new original content, like SAGO MINI FRIENDS, SLUMBERKINS, CIRCUIT BREAKERS, and INTERRUPTING CHICKEN.
Returning for follow-up seasons are shows like the Emmy Award-winning series GHOSTWRITER, the animated adventure series WOLFBOY AND THE EVERYTHING FACTORY, and GET ROLLING WITH OTIS.
Also, a part of the fall slate is classic titles based on the Peanuts comic strips written by Charles M. Schulz.
Returning for the holiday season is HE’S A BULLY, CHARLIE BROWN, HE’S YOUR DOG, CHARLIE BROWN, IT WAS A SHORT SUMMER, CHARLIE BROWN, and YOU’RE THE GREATEST, CHARLIE BROWN, among others.
Apple TV+ leaned into classic and original Peanuts content after acquiring the rights in 2018.
If Apple TV+ manages to produce series that extol family-friendly values and positive worldviews, they could carve out a space for one of the biggest audiences in entertainment: families.
An excellent place to start would be to follow the path of the highly successful Peanut’s content that champions a moral, uplifting worldview and even present the gospel in A CHARLIE BROWN CHRISTMAS.

In the animated classic, A CHARLIE BROWN CHRISTMAS, Charlie Brown wonders why he feels sad despite the Christmas season. Charlie’s friend Linus asserts that he needs something productive to understand the reason for the season. Lucy dubs Charlie the director of the Christmas play, but Charlie picks a scrawny Christmas tree that his friends mock. Linus reminds Charlie Brown and everyone that the true meaning of Christmas is the birth of the Savior, Jesus Christ.
A CHARLIE BROWN CHRISTMAS contains much of the wonderful spirit of the PEANUTS comic strip created by Charles Schultz. The music fits the onscreen action to a tee, and the animation is priceless. The voice actors are perfect. The animated short has many Christmas carols and stresses the value of serving others during Christmas. A few times, characters call each other stupid, and Lucy and Snoopy get into a tiff, but these elements are comical and don’t cast a shadow on the sweet story. Best of all, A CHARLIE BROWN CHRISTMAS has a very strong Christian, biblical worldview that focuses on celebrating the birth of Jesus.
