Everything We Know About Marvel’s 2025 Line Up

With all but one project for 2024 released, Marvel has its eyes set on the upcoming year and released a schedule highlighting what projects are coming and when they will debut.
With a slower 2024, Marvel only added three shows and one movie to its library. This pace was fueled by last year’s dual strikes disrupting production timelines and by Disney’s decision to slow down the franchise. After 10 movies, 12 original series and two TV specials in three years, Marvel finally gave fans a chance to watch content at their own pace and digest what they saw well before another release.

2025, however, will resemble the years before 2024 as six shows and three movies will be released. This massive uptick in content comes from shows and movies slated for 2024 being pushed into 2025 due to the strikes.
The shows releasing in 2025 are YOUR FRIENDLY NEIGHBORHOOD SPIDER-MAN (Jan. 29), DAREDEVIL: BORN AGAIN (March 4), IRONHEART (June 24), EYES OF WAKANDA (Aug. 6), MARVEL ZOMBIES (October) and WONDER MAN (December). The movies coming are CAPTAIN AMERICA: BRAVE NEW WORLD (Feb. 14), THUNDERBOLTS (May 2) and THE FANTASTIC 4: FIRST STEPS (July 25).
While the stream of content has certainly picked up, Marvel is emphasizing that not every show has to be watched to keep up with the main happenings in the MCU. They rebranded their live-action and animated content to help with this pressure.
“There was a lot of pressure post-AVENGERS: ENDGAME on the public to feel obligated to watch absolutely everything in order to watch anything,” said Brad Winderbaum, Marvel’s head of streaming, television and animation. “Part of the rebranding was a signal to the general audience that we’re creating a lot of options, and you can follow your tastes within this brand. Some will be more comedic, some will be more dramatic, some will be animated, some will be live-action. Marvel is more than just one thing — it is actually many different genres that just happened to coexist in a single narrative.”
