Robertson Family Returns To TV With New Show DUCK FAMILY TREASURE

By Movieguide® Contributor

The Robertson family, who rose to fame on popular reality show DUCK DYNASTY, are getting ready to launch their newest TV series, DUCK FAMILY TREASURE.

The 10-part series will be available to stream on Fox Nation in June.

“Since adding the coveted DUCK DYNASTY series to our platform in 2020, the response from our subscribers proved they were in the market for more,” Jason Klarman, president of Fox Nation, said. “We’re proud to offer this original one-of-a-kind show in addition to our already extensive library of lifestyle and entertainment content.”

The show will follow brothers Jase and Jep Robertson as they search for buried treasure alongside their Uncle Si and history expert, Murray Crowe. Missy and Jessica, Jase and Jep’s wives, and other family members will also appear in episodes.

Each episode will see the family continue to search for the treasure, showcasing the new people and places they experience, and the lessons they learn along the way.

This isn’t the only big change happening in the lives of the Robertsons. Movieguide® previously reported on Jase and Missy’s decision to temporarily take custody of a newborn:

Former DUCK DYNASTY stars Missy and Jase Robertson are candid about their Christian faith and recently decided to show Christ’s love to a newborn baby.

“In the years past, Jase and I have been involved in multiple ministries — some that we are engaged in with other people, some that we ran ourselves,” Missy told CBN’s Faithwire. “And in one of those ministries, we got to meet some amazing women, and it was one of these women who needed help at this time.”

One of these women had just given birth and needed help taking care of the newborn because she could not “physically take care of” the child. She asked the hospital to call Missy, and the baby was signed over to her.

“When my phone rang and I talked to the person at the hospital, I thought, ‘There’s no way I can. How can I do this?’” Missy admitted.

Missy said she was unsure how her husband, Jase, would react to the news. But Jase wanted to help just as much as she did.

“He said, ‘I think we should do everything we can to help this baby and this mother,’” Missy shared. “And I said, ‘OK, well, here we go,’ and we brought him home the next day.”
