There is jeopardy and light violence, so MOVIEGUIDE® suggests using caution with young children as some scenes may be frightening. THE NATIVITY STORY is a near-perfect movie for adults and children 10 years old and up.

It’s an action-packed look at the Nativity Story that will keep children engaged throughout the entire film. THE STAR features very light cartoon jeopardy that may be intense for young children. There is some peril and jeopardy, but nothing too scary. JOURNEY TO BETHLEHEM extolls faith and even has a few humorous moments. Be sure to add this to your Christmas watchlist for kids 8+.

One of the most cherished classic Christmas movies, IT’S A WONDERFUL LIFE is a must-watch for anyone looking for a film about the true meaning of Christmas. Jimmy Stewart stars as a struggling loan officer who is given a glimpse of what the world would be like if he was never born. It contains a very strong moral worldview extolling family and the sanctity of life. Best of all, it demonstrates God’s love for each of us. There is jeopardy and light violence, but nothing overtly scary. They just don’t make movies like IT’S A WONDERFUL LIFE these days.

There is light violence and intense scenes, so parents may want to use caution with young children. At the heart of it, A CHRISTMAS CANDLE is a faith-affirming film.

The children travel through a wardrobe leading to the magical land of Narnia. The movie features a very strong Christian worldview with many biblical allegories.
