More Detail:

“Eulogy” follows the Robinsons on separate journeys. John takes Will on a hike and teaches him about the responsibility he has in the robot. Penny takes another boy on a hike to flirt with him (against the wishes of the boy’s father). Judy and Don West take a group of survivors to a crashed ship to recover fuel which might help them escape. June Harris continues to plot by undermining the relationship between Will and the robot, so she can use it for her own selfish reasons.

EULOGY is filled with strong moral values, even more than other episodes. John helps teach Will a lesson about responsibility and accountability. Don shows that even though he’s a little greedy, he is willing to put himself at risk for others. A big moral question is posed about whether the robot is trustworthy and responsible for the people it has killed. Penny shows some moral failings, however, when she convinces a boy to disobey his father and sneak off. There is a short violent scene where the robot is shot at and responds by knocking over John.
